The property was once home to Charles Borland Jr., a prominent lawyer, politician, and District Attorney, and Isabella Hill Borland, a member of a well-known local family. The Borland House boasts high ceilings, narrow planked floors, window cornices, Doric columns, and ornate front and back entries with sidelights, transom, tracery, and pilasters.
